Veterinarians

Dan Atlas, DVM

Dr. Dan Atlas grew up in New York and obtained his Bachelor degree in Animal Science in 1998 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Cornell University. He began his career in a busy small animal practice in southern New Hampshire, but was easily lured to his wife’s home state of Colorado (as many of us are) for the beautiful landscape and endless outdoor activities and amenities. Prior to moving to the Beaver Brook Pet Center, Dr. Atlas practiced primarily in southwest Denver, including serving four years as the medical director at VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital. Dr. Atlas is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association and the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society (DAVMS), and currently serves as the Community Service Committee chair for the DAVMS. He has a special interest in preventative care and geriatric medicine, but enjoys all aspects of general practice, including soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Dr. Atlas shares a home with his wife, two daughters, a gentle kitty named Pepper, and a sweet but enthusiastic pup named Calvin. In his free time, Dr. Atlas enjoys skiing, running, golfing and playing soccer.

Dr. Manobla was born and raised in New York City.  He did his undergraduate work at CSU, then went to Cornell University in upstate New York and graduated with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1983.  Dr. Manobla (or "Dr. M" as he is commonly known) loves running, hiking, fishing and antique cars and trucks.  He has owned Beaver Brook Pet Center and served the mountain community since 1992!

Veterinary Technician Team

315_susan_1.jpegSusan MacKay, Certified Veterinary Technician

Susan was born and raised here in beautiful Colorado. After 15 years in the computer industry and raising her three sons, she decided it was time to pursue her true passion: animals. She went back to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Since graduating three years ago from The Bel-Rea Institute, she has loved every minute of her new career and feels like she has truly found a home here at Beaver Brook Pet Center.

She currently lives in Littleton with two of her three sons, the eldest recently moving to California. Then of course there are the four-legged kids, Sophie the Jack Russell and Molly the Cock-a-Poo, who are truly spoiled!  In her free time, Susan likes to read by the fireplace, go hiking, camping, and taking long motorcycle rides through the gorgeous Rockies.

Client Care Team

Elizabeth Campbell, Client Care SpecialistElizabeth007crop__2_.jpg

Born  and raised in Georgia, Elizabeth felt the draw of the west!  Attending both CSU and University of Utah,  she graduated with advanced degrees in Geology.  She worked in the Oil and Gas industry for many years during which time she and her husband, Bob, moved to Texas and then Canada.  After moving back to Evergreen,  she took time off from work to raise a family (both 2 -legged and 4-legged!).  She is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful team at Beaver Brook.

victoria2012_crop.jpgVictoria Klinger, Client Care Specialist

Victoria was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan. While water is a second home to her, ski trips to Colorado since age 11 captured her heart. An Evergreen resident since 2007, Victoria enjoys all things outdoors with her husband David and dog of the world, Rudy: hiking, running, road and mountain biking and skiing. Her love for animals has been inspired by her sister who claimed at an early age to be able to 'talk to and hear' the animals in their childhood home that included rats, rabbits, cats and dogs. Victoria has a BA in Business and has worked in Product Development, Marketing and owned a custom picture framing store and gallery in Rockford, Michigan.

Kennel Technician Team

Debra Baty.jpgDebra Baty, Kennel Technician

Debra was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Missouri to raise three sons and one daughter.  Debra  moved to Colorado to be closer to family and also to make a career change.  She currently lives with her youngest son, AJ, and two dachshunds, Lou-C and Beamer (my little snuggle bug). A love and passion for animals has always been very important in her life and she carries that love and passion to all of the pets at BBPC. Even her drive to work is exhilarating and enjoying with all the wildlife and gorgeous scenery. Debra enjoys hunting and hiking with her son and canine companions.
